Shamayel Residential Complex comprises of two solid and integrated towers is residential space and the remaining area is allocated to common usage, such as an iconic entrance lobby, meeting and party rooms, gym facilities and numerous other amenities. The towers are constructed on the center north part of the plot, thus allowing for approximately 8,000 square meters (88,000 square feet) of surrounding yard and plazas, including fountains and water-views, children's playground and gorgeous green landscaping.
The pre-construction and geo-technical tests of the soil have been carried out according to ASTM standards by the Soil Mechanics Laboratory of the Technical Faculty of Tehran University. Similarly, the armed concrete structure has been designed and thoroughly tested by highly skilled and experienced structural engineers; specifically, an in-house laboratory has been utilized to consistently test all materials employed in the development of the structure so as to ensure complete adherence with legal earthquake regulations and codes - Earthquake Regulation #2,800. Thus, SHAMAYEL is indemnified against any probable major earthquake in Tehran.
To preserve the building exterior, in case of an earthquake, the exterior facade is fortified with iron bars (like a net surrounding the exterior walls) and covered with granite stone and ALCOBOND (aluminum) sheets. Furthermore, to minimize head cold loss, the outer walls are multi-layered with PLASTOFOAM (plastic foam panels) insulation. Sound and thermal insulation has also been considered in the floors and the decorative ceiling.
